Churches holding VBS in Cove area

A summer tradition for many families in Copperas Cove is attending annual Vacation Bible School, a five-day program at churches which give children up to sixth grade a chance to enjoy Bible-themed crafts, stories and songs and a snack.
In the Copperas Cove area, a number of local churches will be opening their doors this summer for VBS.
Some of these include:
Robertson Avenue Baptist Church, June 11-15, 5:15 p.m. Dinner will be served each night.
Eastside Baptist Church, June 12-16, 9 a.m.-noon, “Maker Fun Factory”, 1202 MLK Jr. D.
First Baptist Church Copperas Cove, June 12-16, 9 a.m.- noon, “Galactic Surveyors”, 300 W. Ave. B.
Oak Hills Baptist Church, June 19-23, 9 a.m.-noon, PreK through sixth grade, 134 CR 4931, Kempner (corner of F.M. 2657 and Boys Ranch Road).
Immanuel Lutheran Church, June 19-23, from 5:30-8 p.m., a light supper will be served. “From Raindrops to Rainbows”, PreK through adult, 922 Lutheran Church Rd.
Creek Baptist Church, June 19-23, 5:30 p.m. dinner, 6-9 p.m. VBS, 3350 F.M. 2657, Kempner.
Pidcoke Baptist and Methodist Church combined, July 31-August 4, 6-8 p.m., “Galactic Surveyors”; Pidcoke Baptist is located halfway between Copperas Cove and Gatesville on F.M. 116.
