CCPD assists Texas DPS in arrest of nine in online prostitution sting

On Monday, July 11, the Copperas Cove Police Department announced the arrests of nine men as a result of an operation being conducted by the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Criminal Investigation Division.
The operation focused on prostitution, specifically targeting those seeking minors online.
As a result, DPS along with the CCPD arrested nine suspected child predators, who were each charged with solicitation of prostitution of a person younger than 18 years of age.
Two were arrested on Thursday, July 7, with the remainder being arrested on Friday, July 8.
The majority of those arrested were listed as Killeen residents, with the remaining listed as residing in Gatesville; Conyers, Georgia; and Colorado Springs, Col.
Each were issued a $25,000 surety bond, with the exception of two of the men, who also face additional charges.
Arrested July 7:
Allen Ward Maycroft, 52, Killeen.
Andre Mikael Kpazahi, 27, Killeen, also abandon/endanger child with intent to return x2: $55,000 surety bond.
Arrested July 8:
Sterling Ray Alford, 24, Gatesville.
Joseph Brian O’Rourke, 51, Killeen.
Hermenegildo Prado-Perez, 38, Killeen.
Pullom, Jayden Christopher, 20, Conyers, Georgia.
Darshan Jitendrabhai Patel, 24, Killeen.
Quincy Dandre Harris, 36, Killeen, also unlawful carrying of weapon, $25,000 and $4,000 surety bond.
Benjamin Joseph Zupancic, 42, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
