CCISD principals honored by state, city, and chamber

Copperas Cove ISD principals got the nod from several government entities Tuesday night as part of National Principals Month. Both city and chamber representatives honored the principals as did Texas Governor Rick Perry with a special proclamation. All of CCISD’s 11 principals were recognized at the monthly school board meeting for their tireless efforts in pursuit of excellence in education. Leah Miller, Fairview/Miss Jewell Elementary: Miller is a Copperas Cove native who has worked for the district since 1995 beginning her career at Mae Stevens Elementary as an Itinerant Teacher serving Title I students.
