The community is invited to a candidate forum tomorrow for all who are running for office in the city of Copperas Cove's Nov. 3 general and special election.
The forum will be held in the community room of the Copperas Cove Library on Saturday from noon until 2 p.m.
Candidates include: for city council place 1, Azeita Taylor, Alonso Taylor, and David Morris; place 2 candidates, incumbent Mark Peterson and James Pierce Jr.; place 3 candidates, Dan Yancey and Michael Loven; and mayoral candidates Gary Kent and Frank Seffrood.
Voters are encouraged to come with their questions, as there will be a time of questions and answers at the forum. For those who aren't yet registered to vote, someone will be on hand to receive voter registration cards. Refreshments will also be served.
On Monday, the Copperas Cove AARP hosted a meet and greet for the candidates, where each candidate was given three minutes to share about themselves, why they're running for office, and their vision for the city. Afterward, candidates had the opportunity to mingle with those who were present.
