Brenda Coley chosen for CTC board of trustees

Central Texas College (CTC) recently announced Brenda Coley has been sworn in as its newest member of the board of trustees. Coley replaced Scott Isdale who resigned his Place 5 seat in October. She will assume the remaining four years of Isdale’s six-year term. Coley was sworn in during the October board meeting with unanimous approval of the remaining board members.
Coley recently resigned as senior manager of the Multi-State Division of Employee Relations for the Adventist Health System. Prior to that, she spent 23 years as the executive director of Human Resources at Metroplex Health System.
Previously, Coley served as a member of the Killeen Independent School District board of trustees for 11 years, was a founding member and president of the board of trustees for the Cornerstone Baptist Church, board member of the Killeen Law Enforcement Assistance Fund and a member of the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce Education Committee.
Coley also served on the board of directors for the Heart of Texas Defense Alliance, the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce, the Killeen Free Clinic, Families in Crisis, Communities In Schools, YMCA and the CTC Foundation. She was also on the board of regents of the University of Central Texas, founding committee chairperson for the Latch Key After-School Program, a member of the Dynamis Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association and a member of Killeen Evening Rotary Club.
