Last week, Texas A&M University Central Texas (TAMUCT) unveiled a series of paver stones commemorating the 38 past presidents of the Central Texas Fort Hood chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA). As part of the ceremony, the AUSA donated $4,200 to TAMUCT for scholarships. June 30 was Bobby Hoxworth’s last day as chapter president, and the paver ceremony was his final act as such. Hoxworth spoke with pride about his chapter of the AUSA. “[AUSA] support[s] education for the Army both active duty and retired, guard and reserves,” he said.
