300-plus participates turned out for the annual Relay for Life race against cancer at the Copperas Cove Civic Center Saturday, gathering at the event to honor the survivors, remember lost loved ones and fight back against the disease. Survivors, caretakers, and advocates came out to lap the 12-hour event in the fight against cancer, inspiring the opportunity to raise money toward cancer research.
