Winding their way through the campuses of Metroplex Hospital and Central Texas College more than 550 runners and walkers competed in the 28th annual Silver Classic 5K run and walk to help raise funds for free immunization clinics and free health screenings for the community. “For every $25 donated, it helps immunize 96 children,”said Krista Kasper. “Everything they do really does help give back to the community. Everything they put into the 5K goes back to the community with the shot clinics and screenings.”
