Both the Morning and Noon Exchanges Clubs of Copperas Cove came together Sunday to feed the seniors of the community for the 22nd annual Senior Appreciation Luncheon at the Copperas Cove Civic Center. Filling more than 100 plates with turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and green beans, more than two dozen members volunteered receiving an extra set of hands as their loved ones joined in on the community service. “I thought the turn out for our annual luncheon this year was tremendous. The Exchange Club did a great job of making sure all seniors in our community were aware of our dinner this year and this was evident by the turnout,” Morning Club president Mark Peterson said.
