The Copperas Cove Independent School District board of trustees is holding a special meeting tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. to review and decide upon the purchases of magnetic white boards district wide, as well as replacing the blinds at Cove Junior High and Fairview-Jewell Elementary, along with purchasing a fixed assetsmanagement software program for the district. The entire price tag for all purchases totals $186,970.92, and items were part of the 2013-2014 budget, but because these purchases are each more than $25,000, the board must give its approval to these higherticket items. The fixed assets management system will help the district keep track of district-owned property which can get moved from room to room, or campus to campus. Items worth more than $500 will be bar coded.
