Jayden Stahley, 4, went to his “job” flipping over the sign from closed to open. The mock post office in the classroom of Teacher Robyn Petet at Mae Stevens Early Learning Academy was officially open for its customers. “I like sorting the mail. It’s a neat job,” Jayden said, busily going through the letters created for the students by Petet. There are a variety of jobs for each student such as sorting and delivering the mail. Envelopes have pictures on them that students identify what letter the picture starts with and then sort the mail into the corresponding A-B-C mail slots.
