Orders set for general, special election

The order of ballot is now set for the special election for place 3 on the Copperas Cove city council. On Friday morning, city secretary Mariela Altott oversaw the order of ballot drawing at her office. Both Dan Yancey and Michael L. Loven filed to run for place 3, to fill the unexpired term of former councilman Gary Kent, who resigned to run for mayor in the general election.
