Lions Club returns to service following summer layoff

The Copperas Cove Lions Club gathered for their first meeting of the year under the direction of new leadership after taking the summer off. Club President Richard Calkins in his first meeting brought down the new District 2X-3 Governor Ray Harper of Temple to share the vision of the district for the upcoming year as well as how Lions Club International closed the year on a positive note for 2013-14. “I’m excited about this year and we have a great vision from the local clubs all the way to the international club level,” he said. “
