KCCB director goes to Washington

Silvia Rhoads, executive director of Keep Copperas Cove Beautiful and the city’s recycling coordinator, flew into Washington, D.C. last Tuesday, just ahead of winter storm Juno. Rhoads made it to the nation’s capital in time to attend the annual Keep America Beautiful conference, where she attended workshops to help bring knowledge and ideas back to Copperas Cove. “The KAB conference is a great way to gain knowledge on a national level on what other Keep ‘So and So’ Beautifuls are doing,” said Rhoads.
