Exchange donates to help with child abuse prevention

The Copperas Cove Morning Exchange Club donated $1,500 to help thwart the efforts of child abuse, donating $500 each to the Rainbow Room, Coryell County Welfare Board and the Aware Central Texas during their Wednesday morning meeting. The Coryell County Welfare Board, directed by President Deborah Jean Firth, works to meet the needs of abused and neglected children in the county, assists foster parents and Child Protective Services in aiding the children under their care.
