The Morning Exchange Club of Copperas Cove gathered Wednesday for their weekly meeting, naming Chamber of Commerce Vice President Liz Sherman as the Employee of the quarter before opening the floor to Rabbit Fest beauty queen Kelseigh Fife presenting her Autism Awareness platform she has taken up for her reign as queen. Chamber President Betty Price presented Sherman with her award for the quarter. “It is an honor to have Liz as our employee of the quarter,” said Price. “She is a joy to work with. She is dedicated to what she does and is active in our community with Keep Copperas Cove Beautiful.” Club President Mark Peterson updated the members on the progress of the annual golf tournament used as funds raiser for the upcoming year.
