CCHS brothers start up iPhone repair shop

Necessity is the mother of invention and a broken cell phone is what led to twin brothers at Copperas Cove High School opening their own iPhone repair business. Dylan and Cody Amaro started Amaro Custom iRepair in 2011 after Cody bought a broken iPhone at age 13 and could not afford to have it fixed. “So, I took it apart and fixed it myself. I bought it for $55 and sold it for $300. I realized then that there was a good profit margin,” Cody said.
