Amy’s Attic was the site of a car wash on Saturday to benefit the Coryell County Rainbow Room, where abused and neglected children are given clothing, shoes, toys and school supplies in the event they are removed from their homes by Child Protective Services. The volunteers, which include employees from National Bank and Amy’s Attic, along with some of their children, did their best to flag down motorists to get their vehicles cleaned. Rachel Bryant, an employee of National Bank, brought her two kids, Shannon and Helena, to the event where they helped wash vehicles as well. “I try to get them involved,” Bryant said. “It’s good for them to see how important volunteering in their community is.”
