Boys and Girls Club looking for new home

The Boys &Girls Club of Central Texas approached the City Council Monday evening seeking to lease parks ground inside Ogletree Gap Park as they look for a newhome inside the city limits. The B&G Clubs have been in operation for more than 150 years, with the goal of inspiring young people to be productive, responsible and caring citizens. The nonprofit organization receives children at 26 sites in the Central Texas area, including Copperas Cove, which serves approximately 140 children daily. “This area would be just right for the Boys and Girls Club.
