Lampasas EDC hosts annual job fair June 7

The Lampasas Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) will host its annual Summer Job Fair on Thursday, June 7 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Lampasas County Higher Education Center located at 208 East Avenue B. The job fair will feature employers within the City of Lampasas from various industries including healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, construction and technology.
This will be the third consecutive year the LEDC has hosted a Summer Job Fair. Last year’s job fair featured more than 30 hiring businesses and close to 300 area job seekers.
“Last year’s job fair turned into a huge success, even some on-the-spot hires, and we anticipate a larger turnout this year due to the change in time,” commented Economic Development Director, Mandy Walsh. “In my opinion, the most important aspect of a successful job fair is the participation of a variety of employers, and I feel we have that. My hope is to continue cultivating this event each year, strengthening our local workforce and fulfilling the needs of our businesses.”
