Nursing home crowns Valentine’s Day king and queen

Residents, families, friends, and staff cheered as newly crowned Valentine’s Day queen, Beatrice Freeman, and king, Frank Huereque, walked down the red ‘carpet’.

 

The two were crowned as part of Copperas Cove Nursing & Rehabilitation Center’s Valentine’s Day party Saturday night. Residents and staff were able to vote on who they felt most deserved the title of king and queen.

 

Kenderelle Wilson, the activities assistant, talked about the process of picking the king and queen and why residents and staff may have chosen Beatrice Freeman and Frank Huereque.
