New council members have orientation

The City of Copperas Cove held an orientation for the newest members of the Copperas Cove city council, David Morris, James A. Pierce Jr., and Dan Yancey.
The orientation was to help these newly elected officials familiarize themselves with the operations and functions of Cove’s various city departments and agencies.
The orientation was held Wednesday and Thursday last week. The program began with a meet and greet, followed by presentations from many of Copperas Cove’s city departments.
