I should start off this semi-rant by saying I’m a fan of social media used for the right reasons. I use it for keeping in touch with my family that lives over 1,600 miles away, with old friends from high school and college. I keep in touch with fellow authors who might live as close by as Austin, or as far away as Africa. We discuss marketing, ideas, and share news about each other’s books.
