Refresh Spa celebrates 1-year anniversary

The Refresh Spa celebrated their one year anniversary here in the Cove this past Saturday. Actually a year and 2 days as they opened last year on Saint Patrick’s Day.

A large crowd was on hand to help owner Ashley Lyons, owner a life long resident of Copperas Cove and her Mother Sharon Tabor handle the overflow of folks checking out all of the Refresh Spa services.

Refresh is actually many things. Ashley Lyons and her husband took what she called a wellness tour a few years ago and learned of the many different services and products necessary to operate a full service Spa. Ashley had studied dermatology, nutrition and yoga in the past and felt it was the right time to bring a beautiful and relaxing spa to Copperas Cove.

“Facials, massage, manicures and pedicures are our most popular treatments,” said Lyons. “The support we have received from our community has truly been phenomenal and a blessing.”

Refresh Spa is located at 312 Avenue D, next to Grill Daddy’s and is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m.. Saturdays, they are open from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. While appointments are appreciated, walk-ins welcome. Refresh also has memberships available which grant discounts and personalized nutrition support.

“Staying local and shopping small helps a community in so many different ways so it is always appreciated when the community chooses us to shop for an event (in our boutique or even to have their make up done) or to even come and in trust us with their wellness and beauty needs,” she added.

Other services include Yoga, massage therapy, manicure and pedicure services, waxing, nutrition education and products, a boutique and aroma therapy information and products.

They have five treatment rooms and a beautiful, peaceful setting for their clients.

Lyons said that they were an absolute success from the very first day that  hey opened and she has been thrilled by the wonderful support from Copperas Cove residents
