Mojo Coffee opened its Copperas Cove location earlier this month and has plans for a grand opening the week of August 1.

Mojo Coffee is a Central Texas based drive-through coffee chain that opened first in Burnet in 2015, founded by three cousins Austin Moon, Forrest Jackson and Lloyd Reagan.

“We are Mojo Coffee, and we believe a business can spark positive change – starting with our people and spreading to our community,” said Kaitlin Stevens, director of marketing for Mojo Coffee. “Each new Mojo Coffee location is designed to be a welcoming space where everyone can come together, share stories, and forge friendships.  Our mission is to turn a typical business into a platform that teaches life skills, fosters love and respect, and makes a positive impact on our community.”

Since its founding almost nine years ago, Mojo Coffee has grown from one small store to several, with locations in Burnet, Lampasas, Marble Falls, Liberty Hill, Lakeline, Mayfield Ranch and now Copperas Cove, and with three more locations coming soon to Bee Cave, Cedar Park and Georgetown.

Mojo Coffee has also grown to have its own coffee roaster and distribution warehouse, Stevens said.

“We’ve been blessed to grow to over 100 employees, offering health insurance, 401k, and incredible trips to places like Costa Rica, Cancun, Machu Picchu, Keystone, and Belize,” she added. “These perks build a close-knit culture and care for our people’s wellbeing, sparking them to make a difference in our community.”

The decision to come to Copperas Cove came after a customer noticed that the location at 301 E. Bus. 190, which used to house Simply Good Burgers and before that the El Corral restaurant, was available.

“We have many wonderful customers from the Lampasas area that have recommended Copperas Cove,” Stevens said. “Cove is a fantastic small town that has plenty to offer Mojo, a new tight knit community. We are eager to see both the impact that Cove can have on Mojo and Mojo on Cove. We don’t just serve coffee; we serve love in every sip. Our team is passionate about crafting exceptional drinks and giving back to the communities. From roasting our own coffee beans to the window of serving our customers, we are committed to making a positive impact wherever we go.”

Stevens said that Mojo Coffee has something for everyone, from black coffee enthusiasts to fans of specialty drinks.

The menu includes different categories: specialty (which includes an Andes mint mocha, a chai tea latte, the 6 Shooter with six shots and Irish cream and more), frosts (milkshakes), Mojo Classics (coffee, hot cocoa, and premium teas), smoothies, cold brew,  Mojo’s Famous Frappe, energy drinks (which can be made as lemonades, teas or energy drink based), and a small food menu featuring muffin tops, granola bars and egg bites.

The energy drink options include one named The Sparky, which is blue razz, lime and coconut flavored.

“At Mojo Coffee, we’re excited to spread the love with our slogan, ‘Where Love Brews,’ right here in the charming town of Copperas Cove,” Stevens said. “We look forward to donating to local schools and introducing drink names that match the mascot, such as The Sparky. We’ll support Project Grad and cheer on the kids every step of the way. Our Good Behavior Program will reward students with free drinks for their achievements. Through our community text club and stamp days, we’ll offer discounts and free drinks to our loyal customers. Plus, with our huge customizable menu, you’ll enjoy over 300 unique drink and flavor combinations with free add-ons.”

Mojo Coffee also offers a stamp card to customers, with every 10 purchases/visits earning a free drink.

The Copperas Cove Mojo Coffee is open Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

August 1st will kick off the Grand Opening with a week of specials, tastings and prizes, according to Stevens.
